Diamond hole saws /diamond core drill bits Dry or wet cutting/drilling

Diamond hole saws are also called diamond core drill bits.
1.Laser welded diamond core drill bits can be used in wet and dry drilling, but not all materials to be drilled are suitable for dry drilling. Very hard materials like reinforced  concrete, normally should be drilled with water, otherwise the excessive heat generated during the drilling process may cause the diamonds on the core bit to become blunt, and then lead to poor drilling performance. The situation is just like concrete diamond blades for reinforced concrete cutting.
2. Silver braed diamond core drill bits are most used in wet condition, if not, the diamond segment will be dropped off from the core because of the heat caused by drilling hard materials such as hard concrete,granite,marble,tile,etc.
3. Electroplated diamond core drill bits are mosted used in wet condition also for cutting,drilling marble,granite,tiles,glass,etc.
4. Vacuum Brazed diamond core drill bit can be used in dry condition. Because the diamond one the core is Brazed and is hold very stronger than Electroplated diamond core drill bits.
All of diamond core drill bits can be enlarge their performance and working life by wet conditions.
Also the working time for dry cutting or drilling is limited to 15 seconds. If the working condition is allowed, wet drilling or cutting is the best choice for diamond drill bits.
